Whether it’s riding mountain bikes on the Colorado Trail at 10-12,000 ft., or getting up for Dawn Patrol at 5 am on a backcountry powder day in the winter, Rocky Mountain Roastery enjoys pushing the limits.
They also enjoy pushing the limits of coffee roasting, and to that end, have been roasting coffee long, slow and deep since they began in 1993 in Fraser, Colorado. Slow roasting allows more flavor to develop in every batch.
Now located in Durango, Colorado, at 7900 ft., Rocky Mountain Roastery sources only the freshest, highest quality coffee beans from all over the world. They then micro-roast them to order at high altitude in small batches to make sure that your morning cup is smooth, bold, rich and delicious. As Masters of Smooth Coffee, their coffee is never over-roasted, which can leave a bitter, charred taste in your mouth, and it is never under-roasted, which will leave you with a sour, astringent taste lingering on your tongue. Their roast to order process guarantees you will have the freshest, smoothest cup of coffee to get your day started right!
